Pinhole Camera
This seminar was possibly my favorite over the first seminar period, it was very practical and very enjoyable. I made a pinhole camera out of a 500ml can. I cut the top off, sanded the edges, made a pin hole in the middle of the can. I also sanded down the pin hole making sure the hole is a smooth hole and make sure the hole is covered with a piece of gaffa tape, acting as a shutter. Then I made a light ight lid out of black paper. Once this process was complete, I loaded the camera with some photographic paper (shiny side towards the hole) in the dark room, making sure the hole isn’t covered. Then I set my camera down outside infront of where I wanted the photo’s to be taken (The graveyard and the cornerhouse) and released the shutter for about 10 to 12 seconds. Then went back to to the dark room and developed them.
